When we have you a match we will contact you.

Everyone that elected for tickets will be sent 5 $35 general admission tickets for you to sell to friends and family to the address you put on your application. All will have tracking so if you haven’t seen these tickets by the week of the event, please let us know ASAP. You can request more if you need more or they can be purchased online and they can select your name. If your friends and family want the first row which are reserved seating tickets they can purchase them online only and they can choose their seat. Also we have VIP tables. They can purchase individual seats or the whole table. Tickets that are purchased online are immediately emailed and typically end up in spam or junk folders so if you have someone say they didn’t get their ticket yet have them check all email folders.

***NOTE*** Everyone has the option of paying a $110 registration fee at weigh ins rather than selling tickets or you can mix selling tickets and pay the difference to equal the registration fee.

***Black Belts***To be eligible for the win bonus and submission bonus you will need to sell 5 general admission tickets(Or equal value of other tickets) or pay a $150 registration fee. If you only pay the $110 registration fee then you will only be eligible for win bonus and not submission bonus.

Weigh ins: We will be having 2 weigh ins. To be clear you can come to either weigh in but it’s not required to come to both. First is the night before the event and the second weigh in is the day of the event. Both will be held at the venue, video weigh in, or at a different location that will be announced in a email sent to each athlete. You don’t have to weigh in with your competition gear on.

Tickets and Ticket money: Which ever weigh in you come to you will bring all ticket money, unsold tickets, and/or registration fee with you to turn in. Ticket money & Registration Fee needs to be cash only, no personal checks. If someone writes a check have them write it out to you and you cash it to turn in the cash.

Rules: All submissions are legal, NO slams (Gi or No Gi), no heel hooks in Gi matches only but reaping the knee in the Gi is allowed.

Summit Grappling Ruleset &Ways to win: Submission or Judges decision. There are no points but judges will base decision off of Throws/Takedowns, Sweeps & Reversals, Significant Submission attacks, Guard passes, & Positional control. At the halfway point of each match each judge will be asked who they are favoring so far in the match at which point they will raise a blue or red flag based on what corner your are in letting everyone know who they think is winning so far based on our judging criteria. There will be stalling warnings given for holding a position longer than 10 seconds and not actively moving to a attacking position or a better position for attacking purposes. 3 warnings and the match will be stopped and competitor will be disqualified.

** New Rule in effect 2-21-24 moving forward

  • Must be a takedown at the halfway point or or we will stop the match and flip a coin. Red corner will automatically always be heads and blue corner will automatically always be tails. Whoever wins the coin flip will decide whether they want to have top position or bottom position and the person that chooses the bottom position pics what Guard they want to play and the match will start in that position.
  • In the event that two judges score for the red corner, and one judge scores for the blue corner and the blue corner’s coach throws in a dispute bag. It will then go to the referee to either side, with the two judges in the red corner, which would mean that the red corner would win the match, or if the ref decides to side with the blue corner, it will be considered a draw.
